Jets & Helicopters
INTERIOR DETAIL:
Our interior detailing process consist of cleaning interior Windows, Instrument Panel & Lenses, Headliner, Brow, Interior Plastics, Seats & Door Panels, as well as extraction cleaning of all carpets and upholstery.
EXTERIOR DETAIL PREPARATION:
We first begin to prepare the plane by removing the dust and loose debris with the California Car Duster.
DE-BUGGING:
We then remove any bugs or bird droppings from the leading edges of the wings, horizontal & vertical stabilizers as well as the cowling, engine nacelles, flaps and landing gear. This is all done using Degreaser/De-Bug Cleaner. This biodegradable, non-toxic, non-flammable product has many uses. Unlike mineral spirit solvents, our Degrease Cleaner also works excellent at removing bugs from cowlings and leading edges as well as bird droppings from upper surfaces. It's very effective at removing exhaust stains and it makes an outstanding aircraft wash when diluted with water. Two ounces of Degrease Cleaner per one gallon of water is recommended.DEGREASING:
After a thorough de-bugging it's time to degrease the Belly, Landing Gear, Cowling and/or Engine Nacelles. Again this task will be accomplished using Biodegradable Degrease/De-Bug Cleaner in compliance with all EPA regulations.
DEOXIDIZING:
At this point we'll need to deoxidize all painted surfaces (over & under) with De-Ox Cleaner. The deoxidizing is a necessary step regardless of "how new" or "how good" your paint presently appears. Deoxidizing the paint will ensure maximum adhesion of our PTFE Sealant by removing any wax, grease, exhaust and any oil films. Our De-Ox Cleaner is an ultra mild abrasive of a 3300-grit factor combined with detergent additives making it impossible to ware through any painted surface. Typical rubbing compounds have an 800 to 1500-grit factor.
Deoxidizing an aircraft surface prior to using our PTFE Sealant is an essential element of successfully rejuvenating an old tarnished or oxidized finish. Our De-Ox Cleaner is a "paint safe" non-abrasive formula that will not risk removing paint from rivet heads or lap seams. It will however do an outstanding job of removing such stains as fuel, oil, burned exhaust, acid rain, bug-splash and pollution, as well as old wax build-up. After the use of our De-Ox Cleaner the aircraft will have a high lustrous shine. This simply removed the oxidation which looks great but offers no protection from the elements that put it in its previous condition. To retain and enhance this appearance, sealing is required. Our De-Ox Cleaner is paint safe, non-abrasive, and it will not risk removing paint from rivet heads or lap seams. It will do an outstanding job of removing stains such as fuel, oil, burned exhaust, acid rains, bug splash and pollution as well as old wax build-up. After the use of our De-Ox Cleaner, the aircraft’s finish will have a high gloss. You have only taken off the surface layer which looks great, but offers no protection from the elements that put it in its previous condition. Sealing is required to retain and enhance its appearance.
SEALING:
After washing down the entire aircraft to remove all dry residues from our De-Ox Cleaner, we will apply "One-Year" PTFE Sealant. This product will offer you the highest possible reflective value of your painted surfaces, as well as afford you the absolute ultimate in paint protection. Unlike a common wax or polish that will . deteriorate in just a few months, PTFE Sealant will cure to form a thermal plastic resin to last well over a year in most cases. The acronym PTFE comes from the scientific word "Polytetrafluoroethlene." It is a thermal plasticresin that is inert to nearly all chemicals as well as acid rain, bug-splash and high ultra violet or high pollutants. It is recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as being the "slipperiest substance known to man." It is very simple to apply and just as easy to buff out, whether working by hand or using an orbital polisher. Rather than leaving a hard crusty residue common to a wax or polish, our PTFE will set with just a light haze that can be removed with the wipe of a towel. This prevents the ugly build up of car and other waxes in the dimples around your air crafts rivets.
Underside Treatment:
Our Belly Sealant is a one-step blend of our De-Ox Cleaner and our PTFE Sealant. This product will offer 12 months of protection on all "under" surfaces. Being that it is a mixture of the two products, a thinner layer of PTFE will actually cure to the surface. This being the case, it should not be used on surfaces exposed to UV rays. When used on top surfaces that are exposed to UV, you can expect the finish to last approximately 6 months.
RUBBER TREATMENT:
No job is completed until we've cleaned and treated your Tires, Rubber Seals and Deice Boots. For this task we use "silicon free" Rubber Lubricant & Protectant to bring back the rich black color and reduce the deterioration. This product serves well for the finishing touch of the aircraft. It is extremely effective at bringing out the rich black luster of tires, de-ice boots and rubber trim. Aside from the attractive and finished appearance it gives the aircraft, it also lubricates the rubber and greatly decreases the dry rot of rubber. Its uses don't stop there; this product also works very well on the plastic of instrument panels, vinyl panels and seats, vinyl or plastic headliners and leather upholstery.
BRITE-WORK:
For those of you that have polished spinners and/or propellers etc. we use Nuvite Aluminum Polish to give you the "closest to chrome" finish you'll ever see anywhere. No other product even comes close to the finish we achieve with Nuvite!
JET DETAILING & HELICOPTER DETAILING
Polish & Sealant:
Our Detailing Technicians are properly trained and certified to clean, compound, polish, wax, and seal all surfaces of the aircraft. Our Detailers dress in clean, attractive uniforms and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We provides a level of Aircraft Detailing Services and safety unmatched by the competition. We will inspect the condition of the paint and will determine which product will be required to start the polish process. We will determine whether the paint is new, lightly oxidized, heavily oxidized, or dead. We can determine the condition of the paint by buffing a small section of aircraft with a wax. We use Dri-Wash N Guard or Flyers Speed Wax first because it is the fastest and easiest way to polish the aircraft. If it does not clear the paint to a like new appearance, then we use Supreme Glaze and then a compound. The Supreme Glaze has a mild abrasive added to the formula which allows it to be more aggressive and we use the compound that is most aggressive. The Dri-Wash N Guard, Flyers Speed Wax and Supreme Glaze has a high gloss finish. If the paint is dead, we will not able to restore the paint.
DRIWASH:
If you own, operate, or maintain an aircraft, dry washing will most likely become part of the regular cleaning method used to maintain the cosmetic appearance. Due to EPA regulations and monitoring, more and more aircraft operators are being forced to switch to dry washing. In the perfect situation, the aircraft operator has both cleaning options available. Dry washing is an excellent method of maintaining the air crafts exterior.
The advantage of dry washing an aircraft is the ability to wax the aircraft at the same time you are cleaning it. Especially, the more abused sections like behind the exhaust stacks on a King Air or the APU and reverser areas on corporate jets. Waxing these areas remove all carbon build-up and carbon stains from surface of paint. This also leaves the most abused areas on an aircraft protected when the air-craft goes back in service.
We will remove carbon, bugs and oil using Dri-Wash N Guard, Powerfoam or Flyers Speed Wax to clean all aircraft surfaces. In addition, we use BIO-JET which is designed to clean bellies, gear wells, or any other surface covered with heavy accumulations of oil, hydraulics, and carbon.
RTS Exterior Cleaning:
Wet or dry wash the fuselage at standing eye level from the nose to the tail cone (excluding vertical & horizontal), wipe clean all windows, leading edges, and gears.
RTS Interior Cleaning:
Wipe down all wood trim and mirrors, clean windows, clean and condition leather seats, bio-tech stains on carpet with carpet cleaner, clean cockpit, and vacuum.
BRITE-WORK:
For those of you that have polished spinners and/or propellers etc. we use Nuvite Aluminum Polish to give you the "closest to chrome" finish you'll ever see anywhere. No other product even comes close to the finish we achieve with Nuvite!
We use Nuvite's NuShine II that offers a graded system of polishes for both metal and paint finishing that will provide the finest surface finish available. NuShine II has been shown to outperform all other aviation, automotive and marine polishes in side-by-side testing by users throughout the world. Many owners of commercial and corporate jets and helicopters, custom-built, and one-of-a kind antique show aircraft specify Nuvite NuShine II as the polish of choice for upkeep of their expensive, rare and irreplaceable aircraft.
The NuShine II System of graded polishes affords the operator the choice to select the grade of polish to match the needs of the surface to be polished, be it brand new, oxidized in use, or with atmospheric corrosion. NuShine II not only polishes paints and metals to an incredibly deep, clear and image-reflecting surface, but also imparts a protective chemical barrier to inhibit corrosive oxidation to the metal. Additionally, economy of use is preserved due to the extremely small amounts of material needed to create the required polishing action. Users continually report that NuShine II metal and paint polish simply has no peer for ease of use and successful results.

We use Pbs Prep that is formulated for use before each Pbs Boot Sealant application to avoid dulling and hard to remove build-up. Pbs Prep will effectively clean pneumatic de-ice boots of all old boot treatments assuring the best results possible when applying Pbs Boot Sealant. Failure to prepare de-ice boots with Pbs Prep may result in dulling due to build-up.
Pbs Boot Sealant that dries quickly to a high gloss finish while offering the longest lasting protection against all weather, wear and tear. Pbs Boot Sealant will prevent black streaks on wings from oily products that fly off. Light Plane Maintenance Magazine says, “Make no mistake, the Pbs Boot System is the best boot treatment we’ve ever seen". Your boots, no matter how old, grungy, yellowed, waxed over or dull will come out looking better than new. The results are nothing short of stunning. Pbs Boot Sealant tested against competitors products, was found to be far superior in both results and ease of application”.
Gear Wells:
The gears will be soiled from carbon, break dust, oil, hydraulics, bugs, and runway grime. Using Ultra Magnum, We will spray down the gear and agitate with parts brush to help the Ultra Magnum loosen and suspend any gear grim. This will help assure a clean gear after rinsing. Finally we will rinse gear thoroughly before moving on.
